Gastwerk Hotel in Hamburg was built in the former, gasworks building. The impressive industrial buildings of 1896, currently integrated in a modern hotel with loft-style atmosphere. After reconstruction in 2002 and 2006 Gastwerk Hotel has expanded capacity by new business rooms and Penthouse Suites. Gastwerk hotel industry has transformed the monument into a new creative center. Iwan Schwethelm and Sybille von Heyden found that the brick provides a warm backdrop to the building. To add a warm effect on the cold temperature, interior designer uses light with a fairly bright light.
