Southern Ocean Lodge has a simple interior design, but elegant and luxurious. Interior is open and did not have a lot of insulation to provide fresh air and wide room for the visitors. Most of the walls are made of transparent glass which enable to see the beautiful coastal scenery while resting in the house. Australian architect Max Pritchard, has designed a house with a beautiful sea view in the Emu Bay, South Australia. The living room is open, but sheltered by the roof and direct sunlight. The living room allows us to see the landscape around the green and beautiful. The building is raised one meter above the ground to maximize views and strengthen dramatics. Ventilation form and a fan for cooling is very efficient, minimize energy use. Hot water from an efficient electric pump. (more…)
