Minimalist Interior Design of Dolomites House by JM Architecture
JM Architecture have renovated a house located in the Dolomite Mountains on the border between Italy and Austria. The house is built to provide solutions for clients who want to live in a comfortable situation and calm. Architect has destroyed the entire ground floor because of too much insulation and less consumption of light. Few new volumes have been added around the house to extend the entry hall and the oversized family room, which include dining, relax and study areas. Because of the very low temperatures of the winter, the heating solution is the combination of radiant floor heating, perimeter floor radiators along the curtain wall, a gas see-through-the-outside fireplace and a wood one.
